Gebrosky,
As Mayor
John Street's Health and Fitness Czar, from the city of Philadelphia, I am
proud to announce our partnership with Nutrition and Kids in an effort to help
educate our kids and families on better eating and fitness. We are excited to
be working with Nutrition and Kids with their "cutting-edge" 3-D CD-ROM game,
"Nutrition and Kids Adventures".
Your
challenge to "Change the future for our children!" is on target. "The Nutrition
and Kids interactive CD ROM entertaining and educational program is very timely
for every child and parent today!" Here's an opportunity for our kids to have
fun, learn about good nutrition and help our organization...all at the same
time.
We also
feel this is a new and exciting approach to help educate our children and a
much more beneficial fund-raiser than candy bar sales or wrapping paper. Our
children deserve the "best" possible education that we can provide them. Our
efforts can and will make a huge difference by reaching our goal of working
together and bridging the gap between teachers, parents, and child involvement.
Your
insight that "70% of what we are physically and mentally comes from proper
nutrition" also helped make our decision to commit to this program. Our goal is
to have every child know that the feelings we all feel as parents will be
assisted with your program and that our children are "happy and healthy".
We believe
that the "Nutrition and Kids" program can and will be of tremendous value to
the city of Philadelphia and to all school, sports and youth organizations who
support it and ultimately to every family who participates.
We
whole-heartedly endorse the "Nutrition and Kids Adventures" program and also
encourage every participant, friend and supporter of our State to take a look
at this program for their fund-raising needs.
