Golden Youth Awards in Beverly Hills, CA announces their pick for the 2003 Golden Youth Awards Outstanding Achievement in the fight against Obesity with Kids. Nutrition and Kids from Newport Beach, CA will be recognized in Golden Youth's upcoming Celebrity Gala event for their superb achievements in educating kids and families all over the country through their one of a kind "3-D" animated CD-ROM game that introduces players to the world of healthy eating through colorful characters such as "The Professor", "Bear", "Banana Dana", "Side-Kick Leaf" and more.

Players are taken on a series of challenging adventures from planting seeds in organic gardens to pyramids of food (introducing the importance of fruit and vegetables, whole grains, and the benefits of eating a good breakfast and drinking plenty of water). They even get to visit the doctor's office and try to work their way through the secret room. There are exams that players must pass covering the terms and healthy facts that they were introduced to while playing the game. Then the players get to try out to win a variety of prizes.

Dr. Kim Gebrosky, Founder and Creator of this wonderful Nutrition and Kids Adventures game, and President and CEO of Nutrition and Kids, Int'l. has already touched the lives of kids and families across the country. In fact, Gwen Foster, the Health Czar from the City of Philadelphia, has wholeheartedly endorsed the game. Nutrition and Kids is even included in Senator Frist's recent Health Initiative in Washington as an example of what the private sector is doing to combat this "epidemic" of obesity and diabetes with kids. The media everywhere is telling the Nutrition and Kids story and Dr. Gebrosky has gained the support of doctors and health professionals everywhere. The game has already made its way into many schools throughout the country.

School districts, private schools, churches, and athletic organizations and foundations are also finding this unique Nutrition and Kids Adventures Game as the perfect alternative to the typical candy, cookies, and cakes used so often in today's fund-raisers.
